💡 This article is aimed at you who have not yet explored AI and who do not work with code in your daily work
AI is not really anything new; the technology has existed as an idea since the 1950s. But only in recent years has it become accessible to everyone, with services like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Mistral.
Now anyone can get help from an AI with writing, coding, calculating, analyzing, and more. Now that the technology has matured, the question is: how can we use AI in work and in everyday life, and what limitations are there?
What Can I Use AI For?
AI can be used to facilitate work, routines, and simpler tasks in virtually all conceivable areas. However, it is not that an AI should be used to replace people, but to streamline and facilitate daily work.
In this text, we go through a couple of use cases, and how AI can be used to facilitate work.
Text Support and Management

Write texts for you based on your instructions
Correct grammar and spelling
Change the tone of a text
Write or reply to emails
Translate texts to various languages
Text support is one of the most common use cases today. Many of the services are also really good at this and handle multiple languages without any problems.
AI for Analysis, Summarization, Sorting, and Prioritization

Edit, Improve, or Create Images
Remove or modify objects in an image
Enlarge and upscale images
Adjust colors
Create entirely new images based on your instructions
However, when it comes to image handling, there are certain limitations – both technical and ethical. For example, many services do not allow manipulation of images with children. To get good results, it is important to give clear instructions about colors, environment, and details.
Create Video, Music, or Voiceover
Generate video from instructions or images
Create music for, for example, videos, without having to worry about rights
Let an almost completely human voice read your text in multiple languages
Here it is often a bit more expensive to test compared to text and image, which makes the free versions that exist more limited. Instructions also become even more important to get good results.
Other Use Cases
In addition to the examples above, AI is already being used in many other industries – and in our own business, it is an important support for developers in daily work.
Some examples:
Healthcare - analyzes test results and finds patterns
Systems, web, games, and app development - corrects, improves, reviews, and writes code
Agriculture – monitors crops and analyzes irrigation
Security and facial recognition – identifies people in images
Finance – detects fraud by spotting anomalous patterns
How You Can Test AI Yourself
Most major AI services offer free versions. They are often limited in use and do not always build on the very latest model, but are sufficient for testing simpler tasks or to feel out if it is something for you.
Here are some that work in English and are available in free version. To the right you can see which devices they work on:
Text Chat:
ChatGPT* – iOS, Android, Web, Mac OS, Windows
Claude – iOS, Android, Web, Mac OS, Windows
Gemini* – iOS, Android, Web
Mistral – iOS, Android, Web
* = Can also generate other types of content
Video, Music/Audio, Image:
Beatoven (Music) – Web
ElevenLabs (Voice/Speech) – Web
Pixlr (Image) – iOS, Android, Web
VEO 3 (Video) – iOS, Android, Web
