Ockero Harbor Square - fast Statamic website for a housing project

Öckerö Hamntorg is F O Peterson's project for a new district by the harbour in Öckerö. They wanted to communicate that project through a new website.

Together with the agency Frank & Earnest, who created the design, we at Itiden built a fast and flexible website in Statamic that follows the project from idea to move-in.

CMS and setup

Based on the design from Frank & Earnest, we set up Statamic with clear page types and blocks, making the content easy to manage and expand over time.

The blocks behind the site

We created the blocks needed to reflect the design and keep the content flexible, while Statamic makes it easy to create and update the site.

Structured content

With a stable template structure, it is easy to build pages with the right appearance right away, without manual settings or choices. Editors can focus entirely on the content.

Project and process

Once the design from Frank & Earnest was in place, we reviewed the site component by component together. From that, we developed a set of page types and blocks in Statamic that matched both the design and the editorial needs.

The development itself was planned for fast and efficient delivery, where we worked in parallel to:

Set up Statamic and the content structure
Implement the frontend according to the design, with a mobile-first and responsive approach
Build the Mailchimp integration for the newsletter
Ensure the site follows WCAG AA as far as possible

Toward the end of the project, we held Statamic training and reviewed how the site is structured and how to create and edit content.

The result was a modern and fast website that presents Öckerö Hamntorg as a whole.

The block-based setup makes the site easy for editors to work with, while also preparing it for future needs such as more page types and integrations. With support for newsletters, contact modules and a clear structure, the editorial experience becomes smooth and straightforward.
